A Gift for a Friend

So, I was told not do any Halloween prop building until February. Does a birthday gift that involves making Halloween props count as prop building? I say not ... but since it is a gift, I can't post pictures until it's done and in the birthday person's hands!

For now, all I can do is wish everyone a Happy New Year and promise to post pictures soon. UPDATE: Pictures posted!

 

Monster Mud Prop Part 2

A Photo-Op Prop

So, I've been thinking that I'd love to try another Monster Mud prop for this year. I also wanted to make something that people could stand around and take pictures with and not get in the way of the rest of the display. A photo-op area like amusement parks have in the different areas would be cool. Mine would have to be something awesome and go with the pirate theme.

This is officially my first prop of 2010: The Chained Pirate! Stay tuned for when it starts ...

The Soggy Pirates of North Court

I had set everything up by Friday afternoon and had intended to get the lighting worked out and left out for the big night. Little did I know that mother nature had other plans. The forecast was for rain Saturday evening (sometime between 5:00pm and 9:00pm).
